At GMUUC, we use the UUA Tapestry of Faith programs for children. We are able to adapt these units — such as the Grade 4–5 Sing to the Power curriculum — to all age levels.

We have several multi-generational services a year and the children participate in these upstairs. An effort is made to have our older children do some of the readings. The children occasionally sing or play bells for the congregation and they’re always a big hit!

In the summer, we take a break from the curriculum due to reduced attendances. Instead, we complement our curriculum with a variety of activities — from visiting with exotic birds, to painting balloons on the walls, to making ice cream.
