Rev. Charlotte Arsenault

Rev. Charlotte Arsenault joined GMUUC as their contract minister in November 2013. She is a native to Marietta, GA, though school has taken her up and down the east coast. She completed her BA at Queens University of Charlotte in NC, where she majored in English (creative writing), Philosophy/Religion and received her Masters of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School where she especially enjoyed her study of thanatology, theodicy and counseling.

Charlotte and her partner moved back to the Atlanta area where she completed a chaplaincy residency at Emory University Hospital in 2012. She was jointly ordained in September 2014 by Georgia Mountain UU Church and Emerson UU Congregation. Rev. Charlotte is typically in the pulpit every other week.

Along with serving as the minister at Georgia Mountains Unitarian Universalist Church, Charlotte is also a chaplain for Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA. She enjoys movies, kayaking, writing, and audiobooks. Rev. Charlotte resides in Athens with her husband Leo, her daughter Lilah, her son Nolan, and two of the fattest and happiest cats in the world, Mia and Frankie.
